PURPOSE:To improve the sensitivity, repeatability, and gradation of an electrophotographic sensitive body by forming a photosensitive layer contg. a phthalocyanine type photoconductive material and a specified bis(benzocarbazole)methane compd. on a photoconductive substrate. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive layer contg. at least one kind of a phthalocyanine type photoconductive material and a bis(benzocarbazole)methane compd. expressed by formula I or II as an electron donative compd. is formed on a photoconductive substrate. In formula I and II, R is a 1-20C alkyl group, halogen-substituted alkyl group, or <=20C aryl group; R1 is a 2-20C alkyl group, phenyl group, naphthyl group, or a benzyl group. Suitable amt. of the bis(benzocarbazole)methane compd. to be added is 50-500, pref. 100-300pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. phthalocyanine type photoconductive material. By this constitution, the sensitivity, repeatability, and gradation of an electrophotographic sensitive body are improved. |
