PURPOSE:To obtain a flame-retardant resin composition, consisting or nylon prepared by copolymerizing a nylon 46 component with a nylon 6 component having flame retardance imparted thereto and improved impact resistance without impairing original characteristics and capable of providing molded products having excellent appearance. CONSTITUTION:A flame retardant resin composition consisting of (A)preferably 60-97wt.% nylon prepared by copolymerizing 80-99wt.%, preferably 90-99wt.% nylon 46 component with 1-20wt.%, preferably 1-10wt.% nylon 6 component and having 1.5-5.5, preferably 2-4.5 intrinsic viscosity(measured by using 96% sulfuric acid in 1g/dl concentration at 25 deg.C) and (B)preferably 3-30wt.% flame retardant, e.g., brominated polystyrene expressed by formula I(x is 1-5, preferably 2-3; n is >=2), brominated polyphenylene ether expressed by formula II(n is >=2), brominated bisphenol type epoxy based polymer, brominated crosslinked aromatic polymer, etc. |
