Mobile radio system with holder for a handset rest

A holder for the handset rest, equipped with a card reading device, of a handset is to be created which allows a mobile radio system to be operated optionally as portable or as vehicle system, in which arrangement it should be possible to convert radio section and handset rest with handset from one vehicle to another. For this purpose, a holding part is provided which carries at one end a hinge ear, which is open on one side and into which the handset rest can be hooked with two coaxial hinge pins arranged on its underside. Next to the hinge ear, a guide rib is located which passes through a recess in the underside of the handset rest. The side faces of the hinge ear form an angle of less than 90@ with the hinge axis. The angle between the areas of the hinge axis carrying the hinge pins corresponds to the angle between hinge axis and side faces of the hinge ear.
