According to the state of the art, information and lecture magazines exist in many different forms. However, it has been a disadvantage in the case of such magazines or books that those which are suitable for overhead projectors, which make it possible to address a multiplicity of people, cannot easily be handled for one-to-one conversation or for a smaller group of people. Here, the invention supplies a remedy by creating a magazine having three lids which are interconnected by a first and second hinge part, a holder, which has ring elements, being provided around the second hinge part for a multiplicity of films and the like. A further feature is a stop which is arranged at a small distance from the edge facing away from the first hinge. This stop is advantageously a metal rail which runs parallel to the edge. Due to this construction, on the one hand, it is possible to pivot the films into and out of the projection position and, on the other hand, the information and lecture magazine according to the invention can be set up in such a manner that it assumes a roof-like structure in which the films can be pivoted about the peak or the gable (ridge), as a result of which it is possible for people sitting opposite each other simultaneously to view that side of the film which is facing them. <IMAGE>
