<p>PURPOSE:To enable a hydraulic clutch to be quickly engaged at the time of necessity by providing a pilot mechanism by which the pressures from a valve body, a piston, pilot oil passages, and the main oil passage on the hydraulic clutch side to be applied on a piston can be changed over either via an orifice or not via the orifice. CONSTITUTION:In a pilot regulating mechanism A, when a rotary valve 5 is turned to exert a pilot pressure via an orifice 15, a valve body 4 opens a main oil passage 3 by the pressure difference between the pressure in the main oil passage 3a on a hydraulic clutch 1 side and that in the main oil passage 3b on a hydraulic pump 2 side, and the hydraulic clutch reaches semi-engaged a condition. Thereafter, by both the pressure from a first pilot oil passage 13 and that from a second pilot oil passage 14, the valve body 4 balances in such a condition as the main oil passage 3 is slightly throttled. Next, by the nonlinear spring force of a compression spring 10, the main oil passage 3 is gradually opened in a nonlinear rate of change. Further, when the valve 5 is turned to exert pressure not via the orifice 15 but via an oil passage 14a, the valve body 4 is opened in a short time without being brought into the balanced condition to engage the hydraulic clutch 1.</p> |
