The lenticular throwing disc for aquatic sports is made of a single lighter-than-water material. The ratio of its diameter to thickness in the region of the axis is 10 : 1. Used as a sports article or toy, this disk has considerably enhanced acrodynamic characteristics as well as improved floatability and gliding behaviour. |
