In the clothing of racing skiers, too little attention has hitherto been paid to the aerodynamics of the various articles of clothing. The new aerodynamic body is to have less wind resistance than articles of clothing known hitherto. According to the invention, the new body consists of a tight-fitting and aerodynamically dimensionally stable soft plastic material and is held on the ski pole by means of mountings. The body retains its shape as a result of air or foam chambers which can also be remotely controllable. <IMAGE>
