PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric charge transferring material useful as a material for an org. electronic device such as an electrophotographic photoreceptor, an org. EL device or an org. solar cell and to produce electric charge transferring fine particles used for the electric charge transferring material. SOLUTION: This electric charge transferring material consists of electric charge transferring find particles essentially contg. an electric charge transferring org. compd. selected from among positive hole or electron transferring high and low molecular compds. The fine particles are formed by emulsification and dispersion and have 0.01-50μm average particle diameter and the square root of the ratio of the average particle diameter of 90% of the total volume or number of the fine particles to that of 10% as value showing particle size distribution is preferably 1.0-2.0. At least part of the surfaces of the fine particles may be coated with a 2nd compd. which may react with the electric charge transferring org. compd.
