<p>1. A process of coal gasification in which coal, as a principal primary material, is introduced directly into a fluidized bed into the lower part of which oxygen and water vapour are blown, ash being recovered in the molten state at the bottom of the bed, whilst the products, on emerging, are successively directed to one or more devices for separating fines and gases, the fines being recycled to the fluidized bed, an improvement in the process with regard to the gasification and to increasing the usefulness of sludges being characterized in that it consists in introducing into the circuit of the products which leave the said fluidized bed at least 20 %, and at most 50 %, by weight of the amount of coal introduced into the installation, of sludges representing a fraction having a grain size comprised between 0 and 1 mm, and of introducing into the fluidized bed a mixture of these dried sludges and of the fines of the same grain size separated from the gases.</p> |
