PURPOSE:To detect moisture with high detection sensitivity even with a low moisture and even in such a state in which electrodes are coated with dust and impurities by detecting the ion electromotive force by the moisture immersion between a pair of the electrodes stuck with hydrophilic ion-sensitive films on the surfaces. CONSTITUTION:Sensor parts 11, 12 which are paired by two pieces each of the electrodes 11a, 11b, 12a, 12b parted at prescribed spacings and are parted at a prescribed spacing from each other are disposed to a moisture detecting sensor 10. These electrodes are printed and formed together with lead wires 14 on one face of a flexible insulating film 13 and terminals 15 are formed to the parts on one side thereof. The film 13 is covered by insulating film 16 except the electrode parts and the terminals 15. The hydrophilic ion-sensitive films 17 are stuck atop the electrodes and a hydrophilic film 18 is stuck atop the film 16. This sensor 10 is mounted in the sloped part in a water pool part 21 at the bottom of an oil tank 20. The presence of the moisture is detected by the ion electromotive force by immersion of the moisture into the sensitive films 17 of the respective sensor parts 11, 12. |
