In a machine for producing bags, sacks or similar packagings from a flexible thermoplastic film web, having a cutting and welding device and two feed rollers (19, 20), the invention provides that the first feed roller (19) is provided with an associated, first clutch (28) and the second feed roller (20) is provided with an associated, second clutch (27), that centrifugal masses of the two clutches (27, 28) are coupled by a common toothed belt, that the first feed roller (19) is provided with an associated, first brake (39) and the second feed roller (20) is provided with an associated, second brake (40), and that the two clutches (27, 28) and the two brakes (39, 40) can be actuated jointly by a single electronic control (28c). Such a machine comprising two spaced-apart feed rollers (19, 20) is provided with clutch and braking devices which are subject to virtually no wear and operate in a rapid and an exact manner. <IMAGE> |
