There is proposed a reception vessel for surgical instruments, especially instruments for dental implantology. In the lower part (2) of this container there is an insert (7) which is subdivided such that the instruments can be inserted in the order of their use. Furthermore, a cover card is placed thereon which bears the symbols of the instruments in their assignment to one another in order to guarantee that the instruments cannot be mixed up. <IMAGE>
