There is an undercarriage of a model aircraft. In this case, it is desired for the undercarriage to be designed to be as realistic as possible. This is acheived by an insert element 14 being fixed in a recess 19 on the bottom of the model aircraft, from which insert element 14 a protruding spring arm 13 projects out approximately in a plane parallel to the centre plane of the model aircraft, which spring arm 13 enters the recess 19 in the event of spring movement and is fitted with a stand 35 which is approximately at right angles to the centre plane and on which a double-wheel unit 1 is mounted. This undercarriage makes it possible for the aircraft to have more realistic suspension, that is to say it flexes somewhat in a sprung manner when vertical pressure is applied to the model aircraft. <IMAGE>
