<p>PURPOSE:To minimize variance in resistance value, by forming a resistor of a pyrochlore-type ruthenium oxide-glass material while forming electrodes of the same material but having a resistance value lower than that of the resistor and calcining the resistor and the electrodes simultaneously. CONSTITUTION:A resistor 14 is formed on an insulating substrate 12, and electrodes 16 are provided at the opposite ends and intermediate sections of the resistor. A voltage is applied to the opposite electrodes and a divided voltage is obtained from the intermediate electrodes. The resistor is formed of a pyrochlore-type ruthenium oxide-glass material containing Bi or Pb. The electrodes are also formed of a pyrochlore-type ruthenium oxide but having a resistance value lower than that of the resistor. The resistor and the electrodes are calcined simultaneously. A high voltage resistor constructed in this manner is allowed to have minimum variance in resistance value. By covering the surface with a glass layer, variation in resistance value caused by sputtering in a CRT can be minimized.</p> |
