<p>PURPOSE:To easily treat exhausted ozone at a low cost, by treating the exhausted ozone with a filter for treating exhausted ozone, impregnated its filter medium with an aq. soln. of iodide. CONSTITUTION:The filter having the filter medium consisting of non woven fabric, filter paper, porous resin, etc., impregnated with the aq. soln. having >=1/1000 N concn. of potassium iodide, sodium iodide, etc., is used as the filter for treating exhausted ozone. The exhausted ozone is passed through the filter equipped in the upper part of an usual flow pipe or usual treating vessel for the exhausted ozone. The impregnation of the filter medium with the aq. soln. of iodide is carried out enough on occasion by supplying the aq. soln. to the filter medium taken out from the flow line, and more easily carried out by the way of supplying such as sucking up, dripping, sprinkling, etc.</p> |
