<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently dehumidify compressed air by passing the heated external air through the inside of one adsorption tower at atmospheric pressure, then passing the whole amt. of the dry air leaving the outlet of the other adsorption tower subjected to adsorption through the former adsorption tower to cool the tower, cooling the dry air to ordinary temp., and recovering the air. CONSTITUTION:Compressed air is introduced into the adsorption tower A through a line C, a valve 6, and an automatic valve 7, dehumidified and dried therein, and discharged through an automatic valve 12 and a cooler 3. Meanwhile, the air from a blower 1 is heated by a heater 2 and sent to the adsorption tower B through an automatic value 11 to heat and regenerate the adsorbent, and the desorbed steam is discharged to the outside of the system from a discharge line E. The dry compressed air from the adsorption tower A is then sent to the adsorption tower B through valves 10 and 9' to cool to tower B, and the high-temp. dry air leaving the top of the tower B is cooled by the cooler 3 to ordinary temp. and recovered from a line D outside the system.</p> |
