PURPOSE:To sufficiently maintain seal at molten metal supplying part by forming shape at tip part of molten metal supply in continuous casting equipment and a slide seal between the above part and a dam block to wedge construction. CONSTITUTION:A piston 8 is pushed at suitable size to reverse direction with running direction of the dam block 2 from a cylinder hole 9 by the high pressure inert gas and at the same time, the slide seal 7 is slided on a sliding face 7a of a molten metal trough forming at tapered angle alpha. Then, the wedge-state slide seal 7 comes to condition inserting the wedge into gap between the tip part of the molten metal supplying trough 3 and the dam block 2. By this method, the seal at the molten metal supplying part can be sufficiently maintained. |
