发明名称 OPTICAL INFORMATION RECORDING AND REPRODUCING DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE:To shorten the time of access to an object track by correcting the position of a light beam by an extent corresponding to the number of tracks equal to the number of one-rotation detection signals which is obtained from a detecting means during movement due to a moving means. CONSTITUTION:A number detecting means 32 and a kick back correcting means 52 are provided, and the means 32 detects the number of times by which the light beam traverses the boundary area, where the track number of a spiral track is changed, when being moved from the present track to the object track by track jump, and the means 52 jumps the light beam across tracks, whose number corresponds to the number of times detected by the means 32, in the kick back direction after track jump. Consequently, the object track is seeked by one track seek process without the repeated seek process independently of passage at track number change points. Thus, the seek operation based on track jump is terminated in a short time.
