PURPOSE:To keep the battery fastened condition with normally specified compression force by controlling, under the battery in operation, the temp. of the cooling water supplied to pipings fitted to fastening links according to signals given by a compressive load sensor. CONSTITUTION:Drop of the fastening pressure is sensed by a compressive load sensor 9 to be fed into a controller 17, which keeps in memory such factors as the battery fastening pressure, the coolant temp. of each link 3, and refrigerant rate-of-flow of a cooler 12. The coolant temps. upstream and downstream this cooler 12 are sensed by thermocouples 14, 15 to be fed into the controller 17, and the rate of flow of the refrigerant is calculated so as to attain the specified pressure, and on the basis of output from this calculation a flow adjusting valve 16 is controlled to adjust the heat exchange capacity of the cooler 12. The cooling water discharged from a pump 11 is cooled by the cooler 12 to a specified temp., and the water temp. of the supplied coolant is measured by the thermocouple 15 to serve for feedback control to be made by the controller 17. Thereby the links contract according to its linear coefficient of expansion, and the normally specified compression force is maintained. |
