CONTROLLING APPARATUS FOR ELECTRIC CLEANER

PURPOSE: To always control the pressure in a cleaner constant and to prevent the adverse effect on a vacuum motor by controlling the output of the vacuum motor on the basis of the output of a pressure detection means detecting pressure on the suction side. CONSTITUTION: A pressure sensor 15 detects the pressure on the suction port 4 side within a cleaner main body 1. The output voltage of the pressure sensor 15 is applied to a defferential amplifying circuit constituted of resistors 16a-16d for determining a time constant and an operational amplifier 17 and the output of the pressure sensor 15 is amplified to detect the suction pressure of a cleaner. The detection signal is applied to the reversal input of a voltage comparator 19 and, at the same time, when the non-reversal input of the voltage comparator 19 is set to a certain preset value and the voltage applied to reversal input exceeds the voltage of non-reversal input, the output voltage of the voltage comparator 19 is lowered and the abnormal lowering of the pressure on the suction port 4 side is detected. The output of the motor is controlled on the basis of the output of the voltage comparator 19 and pressure can be controlled constant.
