PURPOSE:To stably take up sheet material and to obtain a coil of good quality by making at least one of supporting roller for taking up a coil change a supporting position according to signals from a detecting means to detect fluctuation of coil load. CONSTITUTION:A sheet bar 1 is bent by bending rollers 2a, 2b, 2c and taken up on rollers 3a, 3b in the shape of a coil. While the sheet bar is taken up by the rollers 3a, 3b, a roller 3c is actuated to pressurize and support the external circumferential surface of the coil at a prescribed load. The roller 3c moves in a left direction keeping a fixed roller load according as the diameter of the coil becomes larger. In addition, when tension balance, etc., is lost in taking-up of the coil by the rollers 3b, 3c and the sheet bar is pulled to the side of the roller 3a, the roller 3c moves in the right direction keeping a fixed roller load with the move of the coil. Accordingly, the sheet material can be stably taken up. |
