The invention concerns a method for determining by weight the dust rate in a humid gas effluent discharged by a chimney (1), which essentially consists in detecting the density of the impacts of dust particles on a sensitive part (8) of a triboelectric sensor (10) placed in situ in said chimney (1), on the path of part of a gas stream circulating in a measuring conduit (5), downstream of a heating sleeve (14) bringing said gas stream part locally to a temperature higher than its dew point taking into account the water vapour content of the effluent. |
