PURPOSE:To constitute an economical optical reception part consisting of the smallest number of optoelectric converters by selecting only a desired light signal among light signals which are wavelength-multiplexed by the optical reception part and converting only the selected light signal into an electric signal. CONSTITUTION:Respective electric signals outputted by signal sources 9(1)-9(N) are converted by light sources 10(1)-10(N) into light signals with wavelengths lambda1-# l(N), which are inputted to an optical coupler 12 through input optical fibers 11(1)-11(N); and the optical coupler multiplexes them and the composite light is sent to optical reception parts 14(1)-14(N) through output optical fibers 13(1)-13(M). The respective reception parts are equipped with optical tubes 15(1)-15(M) and only desired light signals are selected among the light signals which are wavelength-multiplexed and sent to the optical reception parts and then converted into electric signals by the optoelectric converters O/E 16(1)-16(M).
