<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently perform band compression by reading a memory wherein a luminance signal and two kinds of color signals are A/D-converted separately and one frame of luminance data and two kinds of color data are stored by one frame separately, and performing time-division multiplexing and D/A conversion. CONSTITUTION:The luminance data is distributed to 1st and 2nd luminance memories 6 and 7 by a distribution switch 5 which is inverted at 24.3MHz and stored. Further, the color data are stored in 1st and 2nd color memories 8 and 9. Color data of 16.2MHz are read out of the 1st and 2nd color memories 8 and 9 with a color data selection switch 10 which is inverted, line by line. A 1st time compressing circuit 19 performs the time-base compression of the luminance data having a 24.4% effective period in a horizontal scanning period to 4/5 and a 2nd time-base compressing circuit 40 performs the time-base compression of luminance data with a 84.4% effective period in the horizontal scanning period to 4/15. The time-base compressed luminance data and time-base compressed color data which are led out are multiplexed by a time-division multiplexing circuit 21 on a time-division basis with a common clock.</p> |
