An air-supported construction structure comprises an envelope (1) made of a flexible material and mounted on a base (7), the middle part (2) of which has the form of a cylindrical vault and the end-face parts (3) - the form of a spherical vault. The envelope (1) consists of joint arc-shaped elements (4, 5) provided, at their opposite sides, with flexible pulling means (8). The flexible pulling means (8) of the end-face parts (3) of the envelope (1) are secured, with their ends, to the parts of the base (7) which are located at the opposite sides of the middle part (2) in immediate proximity of the corresponding part (3) and are connected to means (18) for changing their length. The method of mounting the air-supported construction structure provides that once the envelope (1) supported by the pumped air reaches a stable position the deviation of the planes, which pass through the joints of the arc-shaped elements (4), from the vertical position is corrected by shortening the length of the flexible pulling means (8) located at the end-face parts (3) of the envelope (1). |
