PURPOSE:To reduce ununiformity in printing and reduce printing noise, by printing through shifting a line position upward or downward by a preset length when it is identified that a line in which to print details is located on the upper side or lower side of perforation. CONSTITUTION:The first printing line in which to print details is retrieved, and it is checked whether the line in which to print the details is the first line on an even page. When the line is the first line on an even page, the line position is shifted downward by a preset length, followed by printing the details. Then, the line position is shifted upward by the preset length. When the line in which to print the details is the last line on an odd page, the line position is shifted upward by a preset length, the details are printed, and the line position is returned. Since printing lines in a passbook are generally provided with sufficient spacing therebetween, the shifting of the printing line on the upper or lower side of perforation does not cause the shifted line to overlap on the adjacent line. It is thus possible to reduce ununiformity in printing and to reduce printing noise. |
