PURPOSE:To suppress the production of heat due to a current and to generate a large current by connecting plural sets of parallel connection each comprising a capacitor, a coil and a switching element connected in series and connecting a load across the unit and turning on the switch. CONSTITUTION:A main switch SWM and charging switches SW2-SW4 are turned on and capacitors C4-C6 are charged from a power supply 1. When an instantaneous pulse is impressed to gates G4-G6 of thyristors SCR1-SCR3, the capacitors C4-C6 are discharged individually and its current flows separately to an electromagnetic coil LY. The discharge current waveform of the capacitors C4-C6 is a half waveform and when the discharge currents are in phase to each other, the waveform of the summed discharge currents flows to the coil LY. Since the power application time is reduced and the discharge current is less in the demagnetizing device, the production of the heat in the coil LY is suppressed. |
