PURPOSE:To determine information to be necessary for diagnosis by estimating all causes to be considerable when the diagnosis is executed based on not-enough information, determining the information, which are collected in order to efficiently obtain the real cause when the there are the plural causes and repeating operation to execute a question to a diagnosing subject. CONSTITUTION:To the information to be obtained from a diagnosing subject 6, a cause estimation processing is executed to estimate the considerable cause by a cause estimating part 1 with using a rule, which is stored in a causal relation data base 3, and the relation of the detail degree to be stored in a detail degree data base 4. Next, in order to obtain the true cause, the information to be detailed are estimated from data from the detail degree data base 4 and out of the information, the most efficient one to obtain the true cause is determined by referring the data of the causal relation data base 3 and a control data base 5. Then, a question generating processing is executed to generate the question to the diagnosing subject 6 in a question part 2. In this system, knowledge to be necessary for control is written as an evaluating function. Thus, the information to be detailed are determined. |
