<p>PURPOSE:To easily vent air and drain water, by providing an air vent joint part to the upper side wall, joint end parts to the bottom side walls and a bottom cover plug provided with a drain hole to the bottom face in a cylindrical pipe joint main unit. CONSTITUTION:If horizontally running water pipes are arranged to pipe joint end parts 3 provided to bottom side walls of a joint main unit 1, mixed fluid of air and water flowing in the pipe is separated in the joint main unit 1, and the air is released from an air vent joint part 2 provided to an upper side wall. Height H of an air reservoir part 6 is arranged to at least above a diameter of the pipe joint end part 3. When the water in the horizontally running pipe is drained, draining of the water is performed by opening a valve mounted to a drain hole 5 in a plug 4.</p> |
