The invention relates to a heating device of the immersion heater type consisting of a radiant heating unit 1 arranged in a protective enclosure closed by a stopper 5 which includes a centring part 6 for a first tube 7, consisting of a tubular prolongation 6 in which is housed the tube 7 and which is threaded externally, in order to receive a nut 8 including an internal shoulder 8a for compressing a gasket 9 against the end of the tubular prolongation 6 and the tube 7, the said nut 8 including an axial tubular sleeve 8b for centring the end of an external tube 10 and for receiving, on its threaded external surface, a second nut 11 for tightening a gasket 12 and for retaining the second tube 10. <IMAGE>
