PURPOSE:To expedite the speed of recording, by providing a stopper, which limits the amplitude of a spring that holds wires as recording members, in a wire dot printer and the like. CONSTITUTION:When a printing current is flowed through a magnetic oil 1, magnetic flux, whose direction is reversed with respect to magnetic flux from a permanent magnet 3, is generated. The magnetic flux from the magnet 3 is offset, and an armature 8 is released from a core 2. Based on said release, a printing wire 9 is moved by strain energy of a plate spring 7, which is fixed to the armature 8. The wire 9 strikes a printing medium 10 and performes printing. At the time of said striking or little later, the plate spring 7 that is fixed to the armature 8 is contacted with the lower surface of a side yoke plate 6. Therefore, the deflection in the reverse direction is limited. In this way, the extradeflection of the plate spring 7 due to the inertia of the armature 8 is decreased, returning time to the core 2 is shortened, the magnetic flux flows in the armature from three surfaces, and magnetic resistance is reduced. Therefore, the high speed recording can be made possible. |
