PURPOSE:To obtain the reduction of machining period and the effect of cost down by positioning a workpiece totally or partly in a vessel, filling the workpiece and the vessel with a solidifying substance therebetween, solidifying the substance, performing machining of the workpiece with the solidifying substance and separating it after the machining. CONSTITUTION:Using a simplified vessel 20 so as to cost a workpiece totally or partly with a solidifying substance 22 and temporarily forming a desired shape easily fixing a desired attitude, the workpiece is fixed to a machine tool performing machining by utilizing rigidity or security of the solidifying substance after it is solidified. As the result, eliminating the necessity for using a conventional complicated jig, a preparatory period of production can be substantially reduced. While the solidifying substance 22 is relatively cheaper and more economical than using the expensive jig in the past, and displaying an effect of cost down especially in multi-kind small-quantity production, the reduction of machining period and the effect of cost down can be obtained. |
