PURPOSE: To improve the earth and sand taking in property by forming a cutter frame by separating it into a central part and an outer peripheral part and rotating and driving them independently to make peripheral speeds of the outer peripheral part and the central part uniform. CONSTITUTION: A cutter frame 11 in a front end part of a shield frame 10 is separated into a central part 12 and an outer peripheral part 13, which are rotated and driven independently by motors 17, 19. The number of revolutions of the central part 12 and the outer peripheral part 13 is changed to make peripheral speeds uniform. Consequently, it is possible to improve the earth and sand taking in performance of, particularly, a shield machine having a large diameter and reduce eccentric wear of a cutter bit. |
