The object of the present invention is to provide a structure and a cheap method of manufacture for a plane microwave antenna of the type intended in particular for the direct terrestial reception of televised satellite broadcasts. The essential objective of the invention is to maintain the spacing between the supply circuit and the earth planes, in essence, through the very structure of the radiating slots. This objective is achieved by providing for at least some of the said radiating slots 20a, 20b to be thick slots each having a substantially vertical wall 31a, 31b over at least a part of the periphery of the slot. <IMAGE>
