PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of a delay in heating, by a method wherein, after lapse of a given time starting from the stop of heating ot a heating source, the starting of heating is effected. CONSTITUTION:A control device 30 inputs signals from an operation switch 31 to set a starting and a stop, a temperature set means 32, a room temperature detecting means 33 to detect an indoor temperature from the temperature of air sucked in an indoor air suction port 12, a thermocouple 34 to detect the presence of flame and the combustion state of flame above a gas burner 15, and controls energization of an ignition electrode 35 to fly sparks at a position on the combustion surface of the gas burner 15, a blower 13, a main valve 23, a safety valve 24, and a proportional control valve 26. Thus, even when a heater body is heated during preceding heating operation and the heat of the body is transferred to the room temperature detecting means 33 and lowering of a room temperature can not be detected by the room temperature detecting means 33, since the starting of combustion is effected after elapse of a set time starting from the stop of combustion, a room can be heated through prediction of lowering of a room temperature. |
