PURPOSE:To increase proofreading speed by storing previously the defective areas that are decided correct by an operator in terms of the context of passages among those defective areas of the detected sentences and invalidating later the check for said stored defective areas. CONSTITUTION:The sentence to be stored in a document file 1 is displayed on the screen of a display 3 via a main control part 2 and analyzed by a sentence analyzing part 5 via a reading instruction of an operator 4. The analyzed sentence is turned into a parameter string by a rule synthesizing part 7 and read aloud through a speaker. Then the defective areas of the sentence which are detected by an analysis check part 11 and an unknown word check part 10 and then decided correct by the operator 4 in terms of the context of passages are stored in a check invalidating buffer 13. Thus the second check can be omitted, therefore, the proofreading speed is increased with reference to the buffer 13 in case the sentences are checked later via both parts 10 and 11. |
