The initialization circuit allows initialization of electronic circuits upon switch-on and upon switch-off. It includes a series circuit, resistor R1 and capacitor C1, an AND gate P and a photocoupler PHC having a diode D in parallel with the resistor R1 of the series circuit, and a transistor T in series with a second resistor R2. The series circuit has its resistor connected to the positive polarity of a power supply and its capacitor linked to the negative polarity; the second resistor R2 is linked to the positive polarity and the transistor is linked to the negative polarity. The AND gate has one input linked to the transistor, another input linked to the capacitor, and delivers an initialization signal. <IMAGE>
