Sleeve for connecting two casings, namely a combustion-chamber casing and a downstream heat-exchanger casing, which are fixed in a contiguous manner to each other, for heating boilers, composed of two separate sleeves which are joined together in a fluidtight and/or gastight manner and fixed to each casing. The sleeves 1, 1', made with a cross-section and a profile which are identical, are arranged with their open edges 2 in abutment. The joints 3, comprising an adjacent peripheral zone 4 of the two sleeves 1, 1', are covered by a surface lining 5, and the surface lining 5 is clamped against the peripheral zone 4 of the two sleeves 1, 1' by means of a tightening band (clamping strip) 6.
