PURPOSE:To securely suck the gas and dust generated at a working time by providing a vacuum hole facing the opening part and having nearly the same width as that between diaphragms at a leg part of a movable carriage and connecting a dust collector to suck the air to this vacuum hole. CONSTITUTION:First, a work W is mounted on spikes 34 and a servomotors 20, 21 are actuated. As a result, the movable carriage 13 moves in the horizontal direction and a working head 16 moves in the direction intersecting at right angles to the moving direction of the movable carriage 13. Working laser beams are projected from a laser torch 17 toward the work W and at the same time assistant gas is sprayed to the work W to cut it off. The assistant gas and the dust generated when the work is cut off are sucked to the dust collector 45 through a duct 40 and an exhaust hose 43. Since air is sucked in a space 36 facing the laser torch 17 and both spaces 36 of it only, a strong suction force to suck air into the space 36 occurs to suck all the assistant gas and dust. |
