AUTOMATIC EXCHANGE MACHINE OF DIAL INSIDE FRAME IN PHOTOTYPE SETTING MACHINE

The device selects a frame out of a plurarity of characterboard inner frames and exchanges it for another one in setting. A plurarity of arms attached to a rotating member are each provided with hooks that are arranged to move back and forth and up and down and hook into rings on the boards by actuation of respective cams. The hooked board frames are taken into or out of the board for exchange. The system performs an easy and speedy exchange operation of characters for phototype setting.
