PURPOSE:To improve the color reproducibility and the saturation and the sensitivity of the title material by enhancing a ratio of a magenta colored cyan coupler to a cyan coupler contd. in a layer having a lower sensitivity than that of a layer having a higher sensitivity. CONSTITUTION:The center sensitivity wavelength lambdaR in the spectral sensitivity distribution of a red sensitive silver halide emulsion layer is within a range of 600-630nm. And, in the prescribed two emulsion layers contd. in the red sensitive layer, the ratio of the magenta colored cyan coupler to the cyan coupler contd. in the layer having the lower sensitivity is higher than that of the layer having the higher sensitivity. Thus, the spectral color of the color photographic sensitive material is faithfully reproduced, and the high saturation of the sensitive material is obtd., without deteriorating the sensitivity of said material. |
