<p>The invention relates to a method and apparatus for folding corrugated sheet transversely of the corrugations. In accordance with the method, the valleys of the sheet corrugations are held clamped against a die in an edging press or like device by means of a particularly configured pressfoot (2), whereafter a fold line or weakening is pressed in the form of an indent in the corrugation crests by means of a bar (1). The fold line or weakening enables the sheet to be subsequently bent readily to a desired angle over the edge of a bench or over some like support surface.</p> |
