CONTAINER CLOSURE HAVING A LIN

A container closure has a vinyl chloride-type resin sealing liner comprising a composition of (i) 100 parts by weight vinyl chloride- type resin and (2) 35-200 (50-150) parts by weight of a mixed fatty acid ester of glycerin. (2) is derived from glycerin, at least one saturated/unsaturated fatty acid component having an even no. (6-24) of C atoms and at least one acetic and/or butyric acid component. Preferably it is a diacetyl higher fatty acid glyceride. This liner has an excellent combination of sealing properties, openability and hygiene. The plasticol containing (2) has the actions of a plasticiser, lubricant and dispersant.
