PURPOSE:To obtain vibration damping concrete having high damping capacity by adding fine aggregate, heavy coarse aggregate and a polymer-based admixture to cement and kneading them with water. CONSTITUTION:A mixture of 1pt.wt. cement with 1.5-2.0pts.wt. fine aggregate, 4.5-5.5pts.wt. heavy coarse aggregate such as magnetite, 0.2-0.3pt.wt. polymer- based admixture and 0.2-0.3pt.wt. water is placed as concrete for the bed of an engineering machine, a machine tool or the like. A concrete bed having superior damping capacity can be formed at a low cost. |
