PURPOSE:To obtain a polyolefin composition, capable of preventing rusting and having a high flexural elastic modulus and excellent heat stability and color tone, by adding a vinylcycloalkane polymer and a rusting inhibitor to a polyolefin with a high chlorine content. CONSTITUTION:A polyolefin composition obtained by adding (B) 0.05ppm-1 wt.%, preferably 0.5ppm-0.5wt.% >=6C, preferably >=8C vinylcycloalkane polymer, preferably a block copolymer of the above-mentioned vinylcycloalkane and propylene and (C) a rusting inhibitor, preferably a metallic salt of a higher fatty acid in an amount of >=0.5, preferably >=1 times based on the chlorine content in (A) a polyolefin, produced by a method for polymerization without using a solvent as a medium (such as bulk polymerization method in a liquid monomer or vapor-phase polymerization in a monomer in the vapor phase) and containing >=5wt. ppm, especially >=10wt. ppm chlorine due to catalytic residues. |
