PURPOSE:To reduce the maintenance load of an application program for a host device by securing such a constitution where a terminal equipment has various latest data at initialization and also performs various processes based on those data. CONSTITUTION:A microprocessor 29 of a terminal equipment 2 produces a file update message and sends it to a CPU 14 of a host device 1. The device 1 checks the version numbers of the corresponding various data stored in an external storage 13 based on the message received by the CPU 14 and sends an answer message to the equipment 2. The equipment 2 updates its own external storage 23 by the latent data based on said message. Then the equipment 2 displays a picture that guides the input based on the updated picture data on a display device 24. Thus various processes are carried out at the equipment 2 like the check of the input data, the conversion arithmetic, the inversion of screens, etc., against the data supplied based on the display picture based on the received latest data. |
