The invention relates to micromouldings or microcapsules and a method and a device for the regional, especially organ-specific, administration of substances, especially drugs, in the body of a living being. The substance can be brought into the bloodstream in the form of extremely small mouldings containing the substance (micromouldings) and/or extremely small capsules (microcapsules), and the mouldings or capsules are locally disintegrated in the bloodstream and/or acted on in such a way that the active substance is regionally or locally released in the region of the insertion point.
