<p>Passenger car with hydrodynamic clutch and parking brake. The pump wheel and the turbine wheel of the hydrodynamic clutch can be coupled via a parking brake which is subjected to the working fluid of the hydrodynamic clutch, the said parking brake having a ratchet wheel which is coupled to the pump wheel by means of friction linings and a single-arm ratchet lever which can be rotated with the turbine wheel and is pivotably mounted and, in its engagement position in which it engages in the ratchet wheel, is arranged essentially tangentially to the said ratchet wheel and points with its free end in the direction of rotation of the turbine wheel and during its rotation with the turbine wheel is lifted out of the ratchet wheel under the effect of centrifugal force. In order to ensure reliable lifting out of the ratchet lever from the ratchet wheel in order to spare the frictional linings of the parking brake even when the motor vehicle is being towed away at a low ambient temperature and therefore when the working fluid is more viscous, the ratchet lever is designed in such a way that when the turbine wheel is driven via the clutch drive with the working fluid still stationary an additional lifting-out moment which acts on the ratchet lever is produced from the expulsion resistance of the working fluid which counteracts the ratchet lever during its rotation. <IMAGE></p> |
