PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a segment sealing material which is used in a segment structure of the shield construction method in tunnel works and which can be installed without causing floating at the corner of a segment. SOLUTION: The segment sealing material S is prepd. by coating, at least twice, a release paper A with an acrylic solvent-type adhesive B comprising a film-like acrylic copolymer obtd. by the soln. copolymn. of a mixture of 0-90 wt.% butyl acrylate, 0-90 wt.% 2-ethylhexyl acrylate, 1-10 wt.% acidic monomer, and 0-20 wt.% other monomers copolymerizable with foregoing monomers to form a multilayered adhesive layer having a thickness of 50-180 μm and sticking, onto the adhesive layer, a water-swellable rubber comprising 100 pts.wt. natural rubber and/or synthetic rubber, 5-100 pts.wt. highly water-absorbent resin, 1-30 pts.wt. polyalkylene oxide deriv., and 1-20 pts.wt. thermosetting polyurethane. |
