PURPOSE:To use the telephone set of a low cost and a simple constitution by using the light source of an exchange side instead of disposing the light source in the telephone set side. CONSTITUTION:The respectively different wavelengths of a light are assigned to a sound signal and various telephone exchange signals to process the sound signal included in optical signals lambda1-lambda3 separately from the telephone exchange signals and simultaneously transmit. The optical signals lambda1-lambda3 of the respectively different wavelengths are entirely fed from an exchange having the light source of the respective optical signals. In a subscriber's telephone side, a receiving signal us converted to an electric signal in an electric signal converter 10 and processed and a transmitting signal controls the optical signals lambda1-lambda3 from the optical exchange on an optical IC to mount required information and return to the exchange. In the exchange side, the optical signal is processed as the information of the light and directly transmitted to other exchange. Thereby, the telephone set of the low cost and the simple constitution can be used. |
